The Role

A Goon is the Mafia-aligned equivalent of a Townie. They have no special role or abilities, apart from being able to participate in their Mafia’s factional chat and kill.

In Use

Player A: Goon

Night One: Player A has access to the Mafia factional chat where they can discuss who to target for elimination. The Mafia may then choose Player A to complete the kill.

Abilities:

• During each Night, you are able to participate in a private chat with your Mafia teammates to decide who to eliminate. You may access this chat here: [insert link]. Your team must also decide which one of you will be sent to complete the kill. Once decided, both choices (target and who is being sent to complete the kill) must be sent to me by one member of the Mafia using the Night Actions form.

Win condition:

• You win if all threats to the Mafia are eliminated and at least one Mafia-aligned player is alive.

Goons have been used in The Hunger Games, Harry Potter, Ready Player One/Two, Grisha, Lunar Chronicles, and Chaos Walking editions of The Bookish Games.
