Role Type: Voting
A Doublevoter is allowed to cast two votes during the Day instead of one.
Depending on the game set-up, this second vote may be done publicly or privately.
- In the public version, the Doublevoter would place both votes within their comment for everyone to see. (VOTE 1: PLAYER A and VOTE 2: PLAYER A). This action would reveal the Doublevoter to everyone else in the game.
- In the private version, the Doublevoter would place their first vote as usual within the comments (VOTE: PLAYER A) and use the Action form to send their second vote to the moderator. The second vote would therefore be revealed as from an anonymous sender in the game, protecting the Doublevoter’s identity.
Player A: Doublevoter
Player B: Unknown
Player C: Unknown
Day One: Player A votes Player B. They do not choose to use their power.
If Player B has the most votes at deadline, they are eliminated from the game.
Day Two: Player A votes Player C. They uses their power and place a second votes for Player C.
Player A’s votes will be marked within the voting update twice, thus revealing Player A’s ability. If Player C has the most votes at deadline, they will be eliminated from the game.
You are [insert character name], a [insert alliance] Doublevoter.
- During each Day, you are given the option to vote twice. You can place your second vote the same way as you do with the first, by typing “VOTE 2: PLAYER NAME” within a comment. Keep in mind that when you decide to use this power, it will reveal your role to the other participants in the game.
- You win if all threats to the [insert alliance] are eliminated and at least one [insert alliance]-aligned player is alive.
The Doublevoter role was previously used in the Nevernight edition.
