Role Type: Protective
A Bodyguard is a sacrificial protective role. The Bodyguard can target one player each Night to protect them, but dies in their place if targeted for a kill.
Bodyguards can only protect from a single kill. If multiple people try to kill the Bodyguard’s target, both the Bodyguard and the protected player will die.
A Bodyguard cannot stop a Strongman from committing a kill.
An Elite Bodyguard acts as both a Bodyguard and a Bomb. It not only dies in the place of a player its protecting if targeted, it also kills the person who attempted to perform the kill.
Player A: Bodyguard
Player B: Townie
Player C: Goon
Night One: Player A decided to protect Player B.
The Mafia decide to send Player C to kill Player B.
Player A dies protecting Player B from Player C. Player B continues in the game.

- Each Night phase, you may target one player in the game to protect. If that person is targeted for elimination, you will save that player but die in his/her place. In order to use this ability, please submit the Night Action form each Night stating who you would like to protect.
