Role Type: Passive, Multipurpose
An Absorber is a special role in which a player is able to copy a different player’s active abilities.
If the Absorber is Town, the Absorber takes on the special roles of the players that actively target them during any given Night. After being targeted, the Absorber is notified that they have Absorbed new powers and can then use those special powers against others on the following Nights.
Absorbers can only use one absorbed ability per Night. They cannot copy factional abilities such as the Mafia’s kill.
If the Absorber is Anti-Town, the Absorber takes on the special roles of the players that they eliminate instead of passively copying whoever targets them.
Player A is an Absorber.
Player B is a Cop.
Night One: Player B inspects Player A and gets their investigative results.
Player A is informed they have absorbed Player B’s Cop Ability.
Night Two: Player A and Player B can now both inspect players to learn of their alliance.
If any other players target Player A, Player A passively absorbs their powers as well.

- Each Night phase, you passively copy any super powers that are targeted at you. This happens automatically, you do not need to do anything for this Absorbing power to activate. You will be notified by email when you have Absorbed a power.
- Once a power is Absorbed, you will be able to use the power once during a following Night. In order to use an Absorbed power, please submit the Night Action form stating which Absorbed power you would like to use and who you would like to use it on.
- You win if all threats to the [insert alliance] are eliminated and at least one [insert-alliance]-aligned player is alive.
